EduReports

EduReports is a web-based reporting and lookup application within the Financial 2000 color wheel suite of applications or by accessing through the .NET color wheel. The application allows advanced searching and reporting capabilities and drilldown for detail in several formats, which include two transaction-driven reports, three balance-driven reports and a growing list of Board and Financial Reports:

Transactions
Financial
Payroll

Balances
Revenue
Expenditures
General Ledger

Board and Financial Reports
Board Report
Budget Financial Report
Financial Balance Sheet
Financial Activity Report

The inquiry/searching features include the use of wildcards, dropdowns and free-form filled search fields. Each component of the Chart of Accounts is searchable and viewable. Financial Transaction reports can be ordered with account information criteria and/or by transaction type, debits and credits, Vendor Number or Transaction Description, Warrant Number or Vendor Number. The Payroll Transaction reports can be ordered with account information criteria and/or Pay Calendar, Pay Cycle, First Name, Last Name or SSN. The balance reports allow reporting of balances with an as-of date, as well as reporting of balances for comparative periods (months, quarters, years). Drilldowns on all inquiries, including the summary Balance inquiries, will drilldown to all detail, including in many cases, all the way to the names of persons paid under the criteria selected.
The Board Report summarizes the activity, both budget and general ledger, for a stated period in time. The report provides data on revenue, expenditure, asset, liability and fund balance objects, providing the district's fund balance condition at any given time during the fiscal year.

The Budget Financial Report compares the budget against actual activity and provides a balance and ratios. The comparisons can be against the Adopted Budget or the Revised Budget as of a date. The Financial Balance Sheet reports and totals assets, liabilities, operations and fund balance components by Restricted and Unrestricted components and provide a fund balance.

Inquiry selections can be either viewed on the screen (the Browse function), Downloaded into a spreadsheet format, Printed in .PDF format, viewed as a Chart or Saved as a template. The Download function requires that a spreadsheet application be available on the user's computer to use for the download (i.e., Excel). The Print function requires that Adobe Acrobat be installed on the user's computer. The Chart function requires the installation of a free Adobe application called Adobe SVG Viewer.

Financial 2000 security has been applied to the EduReports application. This allows the definitions of Security Codes and Groups that can restrict or expand viewing access. Standard available resident Security Groups are:

Custom Security Groups can be built, and a security feature supports the ability to view all or custom-defined districts from a single logon for countywide viewing, one district at a time (the "View All Districts" code).

Financial 2000 security also allows the establishment of Account Access Group Rules and Account Access Groups that can be attached to users to limit the budget and account information that can be viewed.
